Bopanna clinches doubles title

NEW DELHI, FEB. 2. Rohan Bopanna won the doubles title with Yen-Hsun Lu of Chinese Taipei in the $15,000 ITF Futures tennis tournament in Abu Dhabi.

The Indo-Taipei combination defeated Tomas Janci and Roman Kukal of Slovakia 7-5, 7-5 in the final. It was Bopanna's maiden Futures title. The strapping Bangalore boy would be reaching Beirut with confidence for India's Davis Cup tie against Lebanon, starting on February 8.
