By Shujaat Bukhari

JAMMU, FEB. 3. Two militants, believed to be foreigners, are holed up in a mosque in Ambarpora village, near Sopore, after security forces cordoned off the village on Sunday.

Police sources said that on specific information, 22 Rashtriya Rifles personnel cordoned off the village in the morning and started searching for the militants. As they tightened the cordon, the militants took shelter in the mosque.

The militants then opened fire from inside the mosque. Intermittent firing was on till reports last came in. Additional troops have been rushed to the area.
