Sabyasachi surprises Al Imron
KOLKATA, FEB. 4. Qualifier Sabyasachi Bose of India sprung the biggest surprise of the day downing fourth seeded Al Imron of Indonesia in straight sets in the boys' singles first round of Bharat Petroleum ITF junior tennis here at the DKS courts on Monday.
Rupesh Roy, who earned the main draw berth as a wild- card, produced the other upset of the day scalping another Indonesian - seventh seeded Imanuel Prawobo - to progress to the pre-quarterfinals.
