By Our Special Correspondent

MUMBAI, FEB. 5. The Maharashtra Congress president, Govindrao Adik, today filed a criminal case of defamation against Rajashree Sen, a former functionary of the Congress Seva Dal who had alleged that Mr. Adik had molested her.

The complaint was filed in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, M. S. Gosavi, affirming that Ms. Sen's charges were baseless, motivated and aimed at maligning Mr. Adik.
