Amitabh campaigns in Lucknow

LUCKNOW, FEB. 9. Amitabh Bachchan today took the battle of the hustings to the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee's parliamentary constituency, continuing his veiled campaign for the Samajwadi Party in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Mr. Bachchan's campaign at the Laxman Mela grounds was a repeat of his speeches and rendition of couplets from his father's poems and songs from his film Laawaris.The Samajwadi Party leader, Mulayam Singh Yadav, was also present.
