Freezing cold in Pilani, Churu

JAIPUR, FEB. 10. Pilani and Churu were the coldest places in Rajasthan with the minimum temperature of minus one degree Celsius recorded there last night as icy winds continued unabated on the second consecutive day today, a met report said.

Easterly icy winds disrupted normal life and vehicular traffic in the desert State as mercury plummeted by 1-6 degree Celsius at most of the places even in day hours, the report said. - PTI
