Strike hits life in J&K

SRINAGAR, FEB. 16. Normal life was disrupted throughout the Kashmir Valley today due to a general strike called by the Hurriyat Conference and a trade union to protest the alleged gunning down of a Government employee by the security personnel.

Work was badly hit in Government offices, official sources said. The main markets here and other major towns wore a deserted look.- PTI
