Letters to the Editor
Sir, I am a Hindu and an ardent devotee of Lord Mahavishnu and His incarnation, Sri Rama. The nation is facing a crisis but amidst this the so-called "protectors of Hinduism" want to build an abode for Sri Rama in Ayodhya. Is this the only place where a temple can come up? Let the temple be built anywhere in India on undisputed land. Instead of making a hue and cry over such an issue, the "saviours of Hinduism" should endeavour to unite Hindus by focussing on the renovation of poorly-maintained temples with help from the "rich temples", where crores of rupees accumulate due to donations by devotees. K. Chandran, Palakkad, Kerala
