Jayalalithaa, DMK chief condole

CHENNAI MARCH. 3. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, and the DMK president, M. Karunanidhi, are among those who have condoled the death of the Lok Sabha Speaker, Balayogi. Ms. Jayalalithaa said in the death of Mr. Balayogi, the country had lost a young parliamentarian with a promising future.

Mr. Karunanidhi said one of the pillars of democracy had fallen. Mr. Balayogi handled impartially and firmly even stormy sittings of the Lok Sabha .
