BANGALORE, MARCH 3. Well-known Kannada film music director of yesteryear, Vijayabhaskar, died here today. He was 70. He is survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters. Vijayabhaskar had scored music for films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. In Kannada alone, his tally was over 300 from the mid-Fifties to the early Eighties. His music was known for its melody but he bowed out of the scene by the time it turned noisy.
