Akash test-fired

BALASORE, MARCH 5. India's most sophisticated medium range surface-to-air missile `Akash' was today successfully test-fired from the Interim Test Range (ITR) in Orissa's Chandipur, about 15 km from here.

The indigenously built multi-target missile, having a range of 25 km, was test-fired from a mobile launcher.
