GANDHINAGAR, MARCH 6. K.G. Shah, a retired judge of the Gujarat High Court, will inquire into the Godhra train carnage and the subsequent outbreak of violence in different parts of the State.

A State Government spokesman said here tonight that the one-man commission had been given three months time to submit its report.

Meanwhile, one person was stabbed to death in Pahad village in Mehmadabad taluka of Kaira district this evening. The incident created panic and tension in Mehmadabad town, forcing the police to impose an indefinite curfew.

The police have recovered 13 decomposed bodies from Mehmadabad and eight bodies from Dahod.
