JAMMU, MARCH 9. Panic gripped pilgrims following a blast on the Katra-Vaishno Devi road in Jammu on Friday night. No one was injured, official sources said here today. The blast left two vehicles damaged. Security had been stepped up at Katra town and the Vaishno Devi shrine and its adjoining areas. Earlier, security forces gunned down five Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in the forest area of Gobian, 7 km behind Trikuta hills where the shrine is located. A policeman was injured. - PTI
