NEW DELHI, MARCH 9. The BJP president, Jana Krishnamurthy, and Shatrughan Sinha, film star, were today nominated by the party for the Rajya Sabha elections from Gujarat and Bihar. The former party chief, Bangaru Laxman's name did not figure in the list of seven candidates cleared by the central election committee. The senior party leader, Sikander Bakht, has failed to get a renomination from Madhya Pradesh and has been replaced by the party general secretary, Maya Singh. The Union Shipping Minister, Ved Prakash Goyal, has been renominated from Maharashtra. - PTI
