Letters to the Editor
Sir, After the recent riots in Gujarat, it is reassuring for a member of the Muslim community to come across letter after letter in these columns, written mostly by members of the majority community, that condemn in no uncertain terms the uncivilised and inhuman acts. These letters demonstrate that the majority of our fellow countrymen, irrespective of their religion, are secular. Barring the handful of communal bodies who are hell-bent on destroying the ages-old secular fabric of this nation, this secular majority are true patriots of this great land.
