AYODHYA, MARCH 10. In a complete U-turn, the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas today asserted it would not accept the court's verdict on the disputed site in Ayodhya if it went ``against the religious feelings'' of the Hindus. The Nyas president, Ramchandra Das Paramhans, told PTI that ``we will maintain status quo on the disputed land till the court judgment. However, if the court judgment goes against our religious feelings, we will not accept it''. He said he had given no written promise to accept the court's verdict but only given an assurance. On the All-India Muslim Personal Law Board's rejection of the Kanchi Shankaracharya's proposal to resolve the Ayodhya tangle, he said it would have no impact on the Nyas' programmes.
