NEW DELHI, MARCH 11. Mega cellular company formed by the merger of Birla-Tata-AT&T (Batata) and BPL Communications today got a boost when the Supreme Court dismissed an appeal filed by BPL's foreign investors challenging the merger on the ground that it substantially affected their voting rights. A Bench comprising Justice B.N. Kirpal and Justice D.M. Dharmadhikari dismissed appeals filed by CDC Financial Services, Inditel Holdings, Aidtel Holdings and South Asia Regional Fund upholding the Bombay High Court order of December 21 last. _ PTI
