LUCKNOW, MARCH 11. A writ petition challenging the imposition of President's rule in Uttar Pradesh was today filed in the Allahabad High Court. The plea, filed by a lawyers' body, alleged that the U.P. Governor failed in exercising his constitutional obligation by not inviting the leader of the single largest party in accordance with the provisions of the Bommai case, as held by the Supreme Court. * - PTI
