Imam hails SC order on Ayodhya

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 13. The Palayam Imam, P. K. Hamza Moulavi Farooqui, has welcomed the order of the Division Bench of the Supreme Court prohibiting all activities on the Government-acquired land at Ayodhya.

In a statement here tonight, Mr. Farooqui said the apex court order has come as a big satisfaction to all those wanting peace in the country and to all democratic and secular people. The order will help keep the esteem of the country high.

Stating that the order of the Supreme Court should be recognised by all parties concerned with due respect, the Imam said it will be a motivation for maintaining peace and communal harmony in the country.
