The RTC and private operators mobilised the maximum number of vehicles to clear the passengers. Our Special Correspondent writes from Chennai: According to reports received here, the first 11 coaches, which were on the track, later left for Chennai. Following the accident, traffic on the Chennai - Vijayawada section was affected for more than five hours.
