The Rural Development Secretary will head the nine-member force. Other members will be the Chief Executive Officer, Indian Banks Association, representatives from RBI and NABARD, Andhra Pradesh's Commissioner of Rural Development, Madhya Pradesh's Additional Secretary (Land Resources), and Additional Secretary, Financial Adviser and Joint Secretary of Wastelands Development in the Rural Development Ministry. The force will identify lead activities and appropriate technologies as also the policy environment to encourage and promote corporate involvement. In the case of watershed development projects, the force will sensitise the borrowers about financial discipline and responsibility towards repayment. It will interact with State Governments, financial institutions and representatives of organisations of industry and commerce and experts in the field. It will submit its report in three months.
