RAJKOT, MARCH 16. An explosion-type sound in the parcel room at the Rajkot airport caused panic early this morning. The Rajkot Police Commissioner, Upendra Singh, said a ``marine shell'' used by the ships in the high seas sending smoke up to give distress signal had exploded in the parcel room during a routine inspection at 5.30 a.m. The parcel was sent by a Gandhidham-based shipping agent to his counterpart in Mumbai through a private courier service.
