BANGALORE, MARCH 16. In a fresh bout of violence today at Jagjivan Ram Nagar here, which witnessed communal clashes on Friday night, three persons, including a sub-inspector, were injured soon after V.Somanna, Binnypet MLA, visited the area. Stones, soda bottles, and petrol bombs were hurled at him and his supporters and police escorted him to safety. This was followed by violence on Padarayanapura 6th, 7th and 9th main roads. The house of an elderly woman was damaged and a 60-year-old man, a tailor, suffered serious injuries when a group of people smashed a sewing machine on his head.
