Probe into church attack

ISLAMABAD, MARCH. 18. Pakistan today launched a high-level investigation into the grenade attack on a church here which left five persons, including the wife and child of an American diplomat, dead. The Government also strengthened security at diplomatic missions and churches.

Nobody had claimed responsibility for this attack, the Interior Minister, Moinuddin Haider, told reporters here.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia, Christina Rocca, who arrived here cutting short her visit to India, compared the attack to the September 11 strikes on the U.S.
