NEW DELHI MARCH 20. The Supreme Court today asked the Centre and the Uttar Pradesh Government to furnish plans for providing security to the Taj Mahal. A Bench, comprising M.B. Shah and D.M. Dharmadhikari, gave this direction in the matter which was taken up by the court after its attention was drawn to the invasion of the monument by the BJP youth wing activists on October 14 last. The Centre's counsel sought the permission of the court for deploying Central Industrial Security Force to provide proper security to the monument from April 1. PTI
