CHANDIGARH, MARCH 21. A copy of the Guru Granth Sahib was partially burnt in a fire at Gurdwara Baba Sotal in Ropar district on Wednesday night, amid conflicting versions on the probable cause of the blaze. ``At this moment, we are working on two theories the first one being that it is a case of accident resulting from a short circuit of wires and the second that it can be an act of sacrilege or sabotage by miscreants,'' the district police chief, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, said.
