SC rejects plea against PM

NEW DELHI March 22. The Supreme Court today rejected a petition seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, and five others on the ground that by allowing `shila daan' on March 15 outside the acquired area at Ayodhya, they had violated the March 14 orders of the court.
