42 injured in Kashmir blasts

SRINAGAR MARCH 22.

Atleast 42 persons were injured in two separate grenade blasts in Anantnag and Shopian today. Reports reaching here said that a grenade was thrown in a market near Jamia Masjid in Shopian an hour before the Friday prayers. It exploded on the road causing injuries to 35 persons.

A grenade was hurled at security forces in Anantnag. It missed the target and exploded on road causing injuries to seven persons.

Two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were killed in an encounter with security forces at Kangan on Thursday.
