Mr. Dasgupta told reporters here that the unions would also move the court against Mr. Brahmachari's suspension. A senior manager, he was served the suspension notice on March 19. The company said this was a prelude to the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against him on certain serious charges. Mr. Dasgupta maintained that the unions had been conducting ``peaceful and democratic movements'' since November last against the Centre's move to privatise Jessop. They had organised dharnas and strikes. The company management had decided to suspend Mr. Brahmachari on the ground that he divulged secret documents belonging to different Government offices. The decision was taken at a board meeting where one of the joint secretaries of the Heavy Industries Ministry was present to ensure the directive was carried out, Mr. Dasgupta alleged.
