PAARL, (SOUTH AFRICA), MARCH 23 Indian women registered their first-ever Test victory abroad when they beat South Africa here by ten wickets on Saturday. The Indian side, led by Anjum Chopra, scored 404 for nine declared in its first innings, dismissing its opponents for 150 and 266 after the latter were forced to follow on. India finally achieved the victory, scoring 13 runs with all the wickets intact. The team coach Paras Sinha said the team was ``excited'' over the ''landmark victory.'' Earlier, the Indians had lost the one-day series. -UNI.
