Suicide attack

JERUSALEM, MARCH 27. A suicide bomber killed 12 Israelis and injured atleast 70 in a crowded hotel in the northern town of Netanya late tonight, at the start of the Jewish holiday of Passover.

Around 70 persons were injured, including 15 seriously.

The bomber blew himself up at around 7:30 pm (2300 IST) in the restaurant of the downtown Park Hotel on the first night of the week-long festival, the second-most important in the Jewish calendar.
