Friend in need

Sir, — It is sad that Yasser Arafat has been confined within four walls by the Israeli forces. Mr. Arafat is a good friend of India and stood by us during troubled times. Such a man is in deep trouble and he is in need of help. As a good friend, India must do the needful to get him freed. Negotiations must begin to end violence.
