Reply soon to Musharraf interview

NEW DELHI APRIL 1. The Government is examining the contents of the Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf's, interview to The Hindu and will come out with an appropriate response in due course, said sources in the Ministry of External Affairs. With the External Affairs Minister, Jaswant Singh, and senior Foreign Office personnel out of the country, officials here were not willing to make any comments. But they maintained that India would certainly reply to Gen. Musharraf's wide-ranging observations during the course of the interview on bilateral ties between the two neighbours.
