Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is a pity that both nations have been just finding fault with each other, instead of resuming the bilateral dialogue towards building a healthy relationship. It is time the leaders of both nations came out of their cocoons and ended all warmongering activities. Pakistan has been spending a whopping 30 per cent of its budget on defence, spending lesser than a 10th of this amount on education. Indians are not lagging behind either. Let bygones be bygones, let us work together towards building a strong growth-oriented, relationship. The media has a major role in bringing the nations of the world closer, and the effort taken by The Hindu in this respect is commendable.
