`RSS never said it'

Dr. Balram Misra, worker of Indraprastha Vishwa Samvad Kendra, writes:

The RSS had never said that there should be no celebration on the eve of the New Year, viz, January 1. It was my personal (Dr. Balram Misra's) question to the followers of all religions, whether they could take some meaningful steps to ban the New Year revelries, and other such revelries, (during the year 2000) in view of the terrorist attack on Red Fort on December 21, 2000. This question of mine (Dr. Balram Misra's) had nothing to do with the RSS which never appealed to forego the New Year celebrations.''
