President's nod for POTA

NEW DELHI April 2. The President has given his assent to the controversial Prevention of Terrorism Bill, 2002, which was passed on March 26 during the joint session of Parliament.

This is the third Act passed in a joint session since the Constitution came into force 50 years ago. It has been notified in the Gazette of India as Act 15.
