Bode Chandramohan (25) and Siddha Anjaneyulu (25) of Siddhavandlapalle village and G. Pratap (32) of Dudyala were allegedly murdered by Congress activists Mode Ramachandra, Mode Ramanjaneyulu, Mode Veerappa, Bode Sivaram and Mallaiah due to factional rivalry, the police said, quoting those named in a complaint lodged by the relatives of the deceased. The triple murder was suspected to be a sequel to a plot hatched by the deceased to kill Mode Ramachandra on November 27 last year. The police said that a complaint made by Ramachandra led to the nabbing of Bode Chandramohan and Siddha Anjaneyulu, who jointly brewed illicit arrack in the village. The duo developed a grudge against Ramachandra and tried to electrocute him by laying live electric wires in the latter's fields last year. When Ramachandra suffered electric shock, his brother, Veerappa, took him to the Chakrayapet police station and lodged a complaint. In the case booked under Section 302 of IPC, the court imprisoned Chandramohan and Anjaneyulu and they came to Kallurivaripalle on being released on bail 10 days ago. Their friend, Pratap came to the village to meet them and all the three slept in agricultural fields, police said.
