Cancelling his bail yesterday, the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, S.J. Seth, gave the order in response to an application moved by Mr. Parekh seeking more time to deposit the money. He had so far deposited nearly Rs. 7 crore in the Mandvi branch of the bank. While granting him bail in August last year, the court had directed him to deposit Rs. 16 crore within six months. PTI
