SC fiat on Taj security

NEW DELHI April 9. The Supreme Court today asked the Centre to furnish plans within two weeks for providing security to the Taj Mahal to protect the monument and intimate the same to the Uttar Pradesh Government. A Bench comprising Justice M.B. Shah, Justice B.P. Singh and Justice H.K. Sema gave the direction, which was taken up by the court after its attention was drawn to the "invasion" of the monument in Agra by BJP youth wing activists on October 14 last.
