Offensive will go on: Israel

Jerusalem April 11. Israel will tell the U.S. Secretary of State, Colin Powell, that its military offensive against the Palestinians in the West Bank will continue, a newly-appointed extreme-right Minister said today.

``We are going to tell the American Secretary of State that our military offensive must be completed, because if we have to intervene again later, it will cost us much more,'' the Minister without portfolio, Yitzhak Levy, said on public radio.

``The Americans are our friends; and between friends one does not dictate, one discusses,'' he said.
