Andhra Pradesh-Hyderabad
By Our Staff Reporter
Cases were registered against the head constable, Yadaiah, and the constable, Laxman, under Section 176 of Cr.PC and a magisterial inquiry was ordered to probe the death. The Ranga Reddy SP, M.V. Ramachandra Raju, wrote a letter to the district Collector for payment of compensation to the family of the deceased person. Mr. Raju said a patrolling party found four persons moving under suspicious circumstances near Anantagiri hillocks on the midnight of Wednesday. On seeing the police, two of them ran away. The police caught Narsimhulu, a worker in the civil supplies godown, and another person, Anthaiah, who were allegedly in an inebriated condition. They were brought to the police station. The next morning around 9.30 a.m., Narsimhulu's son, Ramesh, and another villager, C. Ramaswamy, came and met the victim. At 11.30 a.m., Narsimhulu was found unconscious and rushed to the Vikarabad Government hospital. Doctors declared Narsimhulu dead at 12.20 p.m. The Ranga Reddy Officer-on-Special Duty, Ramakrishna, visited the police station.
