Some youths belonging to the majority community threw stones on the car of a member of the minority community in Basbadanpura area. In the clash that followed, a youth belonging to the majority community was stabbed to death and two others injured, the Deputy Inspector General of Police told PTI here. The members of the majority community protested outside the police station demanding the arrest of the culprits, he said. All the shops in the area remained closed. A police picket was set up, where the situation was tense, but under control, the DIG said. The main accused in the murder was arrested, he said.
