Bank strike today

New Delhi April 15. Protesting the Centre's ``anti-labour and privatisation policies'', bank employees will go on a day's nation-wide strike tomorrow, which is likely to cause a loss of over Rs. 100 crores to the national economy.

The United Forum of Bank Unions today said that over 10 lakh employees from 27 public sector banks and some foreign banks would participate in the strike. — PTI
