Vijay, the 2000 Masters champion finished seventh in this year's Masters at Augusta, US, where he picked up the injury. He will be out of the competitive golf for three weeks. Vijay was scheduled to play in an exhibition golf tournament, the Bilt-Skins golf, with Arjun Atwal, Harmeet Kahlon and Kapil Dev. "I was really looking forward to coming down to India and playing in the Skins golf event,'' Vijay said in his message to the organisers. "The doctors have advised me not to put any stress on my foot and take rest for at least three weeks. I just want to recover in a timely manner, get up to top form quickly. Once we finalise new dates I will come and play this unique tournament later in the year,'' Vijay added. _Our Sports Reporter
