Threat to MP

New Delhi April 18. The Republican Party of India (RPI) MP, Ramdas Athawale, today said he had received an anonymous letter threatening that he would be killed for being an ``anti-Hindu'' and a ``supporter of minorities''.

Releasing the photostat copy of the letter at a press conference here, he suspected the hand of the Bajrang Dal, the VHP or the RSS behind the letter. Asserting that he was a supporter of all religions, Mr. Athawale said he was a firm believer in non-violence and condemned the Gujarat killings. — PTI
