12 injured in lathicharge

PATNA APRIL 18. At least a dozen persons, including some photo journalists, were injured when the police resorted to lathicharge to disperse a mob which turned violent today during a `Patna bandh' called by the Bihar Chamber of Commerce and supported by the BJP, in protest against the murder of a businessman, Manoj Kamalia, on Wednesday.

Police fired about 10 rounds in the air to disperse a mob, which resorted to brickbatting the police in Patna and set ablaze some vehicles
