In the singles final, Radhika defeated Isha Lakhani in straight sets. In a keenly-fought first set, Radhika raced ahead 4-0 but Isha clawed back to force a tie-breaker. Radhika won the tie-breaker easily to bag the first set. In the second, Radhika was aggressive right from the beginning and foiled Isha's efforts and clinched the set 6-1 and with it the title. Earlier, in the doubles final, Radhika, partnering Sai Jayalakshmy, beat Archana Venkatraman and Suprita Sekar in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. In the semifinals, Isha had crushed eighth seed Archana Venkatraman of Karnataka 6-1, 6-4 in an hour and 12 minutes while Tulpule shocked the third seed Sheetal Goutham of Karnataka 6-4, 6-2. Radhika had upset top seed Sai Jayalakshmy while Isha subdued fourth seed Liza Pereira in the quarterfinals. UNI & PTI
