Kuwait Telugus fete C. Narayana Reddy

Hyderabad April 20 . The Kuwait Telugu Kala Samithi celebrated C. Narayana Reddy's 70th birthday at Indian Arts Circle, Kuwait, on Friday. Dr Narayana Reddy, who attended the function, spoke on the unique features of Telugu language, literature and culture.

Francis, Second Secretary of Indian embassy at Kuwait, Ch.Rajasekhar, General Secretary of the Samithi, Pendyala Venkateswara Rao spoke. Eminent mrudangam artiste, Yella Venkateswara Rao, gave a recital. Jyotsna Kishore, joint secretary, proposed a vote of thanks.

Programme on music

Executives of Royal School of Music, London, will speak at Malani House, behind Shopper's Stop in Begumpet, on Sunday, at 10 am. Richard Morris, Chief Executive of Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music and Tim Arnold, will focus on improving student's performance, style relating to the Board's diploma syllabus.
