Two passports with forged Emigration Check Not Required (ECNR), several air tickets, passports without endorsement of ECNR were seized from the arrested, according to a press release. The arrested, along with the seized material, were handed over to the Begumpet police station for further action. The arrested included two employee of Sri Rama Travels (owned by G. Ramachandra Reddy), Syed Khader Basha (22) and A. Rami Reddy (38), two sub-agents, Syed Basha (39) and Ratakonda Subbaiah (52) and two persons who attempted to go to gulf countries with fake passports, Shaik Noor Jahan (40) and Shaik Razia Begum (37). The prime accused, G. Ramachandra Reddy, who set up offices at Madras and Cuddapah and Raghu of Akbar Travels, Hyderabad, had been sending job seekers to Kuwait and other gulf countries without the endorsement of ECNR on the passports and forged passports. They used to collect Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000 per head from the jobless.
