The Minister's house at Kavilas of Nuwakot district was attacked early this morning, a highly placed Home Ministry source said, adding that the house developed cracks due to the explosion but no one was injured. Mahat was not at home during the explosion. On Thursday, ultras hurled several petrol bombs at the residence of his younger brother, Prakash Mahat, who is also the political advisor of the Prime Minister. _ PTI
